Newnan Biopsy & Pathology Info
If you have just had a skin biopsy, the specimen was removed to evaluate the nature of a skin growth or rash. The tissue will be examined by a dermatopathologist who will look at it under a microscope. The findings will be reported back to our office within 7 to 10 business days. If further treatment is needed, we will notify you. If you do not hear from us within two weeks after your biopsy or surgery, please contact our office. You may also check your path results on your EMR portal chart via this website.
