Sunscreen Keeps Your Skin Healthy

It’s always nice to have fun in the sun. Outdoor activities are great for spending time with the family or for enjoying the fresh air. No matter how you choose to spend your time outside, always remember to apply sunscreen to protect your skin.

Make sure you use a 30 SPF sunscreen at minimum. This provides you with about 97% protection from the sun.

Additionally, it is important to use the proper type of sunscreen for the activity you are engaging in. Gel-based sunscreens work best for activities that cause a lot of sweat or for any aquatic activities. Lotions and creams that provide SPF protection are good for maintaining healthy skin but are not a substitute for proper sunscreen.
