Our facility houses a state of the art CLIA certified Mohs surgery lab. Here, skin tissue is processed and frozen sections examined for the presence of skin cancer. Both skin biopsies and standard surgical skin specimens are processed in our Mohs surgery lab. Board certified dermatopathologists confer on difficult cases with us. This helps our Mohs surgery lab to stay in compliance with quality assurance and peer review protocols that are important in medicine today.
